Rapid Dissolve Tablets (RDTs) are an innovative, versatile dosage form that quickly melts in the mouth, allowing the API to be released surrounded by a sweet, flavoured powder.  They offer patients a customisable, portable and easy-to-use options for medications.  They can be taken orally without the need for water, or held in the mouth for buccal/sublingual absorption, and they dissolve quickly.  Therefore, RDTs can be the perfect solution for patients with otherwise limited dosing options.
